AxCrypt is a free utility available in French, which meets the needs of many users.

AxCrypt makes it possible to encrypt files of your choice (via an algorithm of 128-bit encryption), that is to say, to restrict the opening of these password to protect them from prying eyes and other users of your computer.

Very easy to use, you can for example encrypt your accounting files, photos, and any file or folder.

To do this, it's easy, just click the right mouse button on the icon of the file or folder you want to encrypt. In the context menu that appears, scroll down the AxCrypt branch and click the Encrypt command. You will need to enter a key, that is to say a password to protect your file.

To decrypt a file, double-click and enter the key, or go through the right-click the icon and click the Decrypt command.
